The Pacsafe Christmas Giveaway Competition (the “Competition”) is open to any and all residents of any country in the world. Entrants under the age of 18 must obtain the consent of a parent or guardian prior to entry. Children under the age of 13 are not allowed to participate in the Competition. There is no entry fee. This Competition is not open to employees of Outpac Designs Ltd (“Pacsafe”), their families or anyone else associated with the organizing of this Competition.
Entry into this Competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions shall supersede any other rule whatsoever. Please print a copy of this page to retain the Terms and Conditions for your records.
To enter the Competition:
Entrant may enter the Competition on any of Pacsafe’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/Pacsafe, Pacsafe Newsletter, or Pacsafe webpage www.pacsafe.com. After Entrant clicks onto the Competition link, Entrant must provide his or her name, country and email address to enter the Competition via the Wishpond app during the following period: from 0:01am (Eastern Standard Time, GMT-5) on 1st December 2015 to 11:59pm (Eastern Standard Time, GMT-5) on 12th December 2015.
Only one entry for each person will be accepted.
Automated entries will not be accepted. If multiple entries are submitted by any Entrant in one (1) day, or any other method is taken to gain an unfair advantage in winner selection (as decided by Pacsafe), said Entrant will be removed from the current month’s drawing entirely. Furthermore, if deemed appropriate by Pacsafe, said Entrant may be removed from, and considered ineligible to participate in all future contests and giveaways.
Entrant may earn extra entries by referring the link provided (at “+1 Entry for each friend you refer”) to their friends. For each referred friend who enters the Competition via the provided link, the Entrant will earn one (1) extra entry.
Pacsafe accepts no responsibility for any incorrect entries, or entries that are lost, delayed or which fail to be properly submitted.
If, for any reason, the Competition does not proceed as planned, including due to computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, human error, or any other causes that affect the security or proper conduct of the Competition, Pacsafe reserves the right in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition.
Pacsafe will select each day one (1) winner (the “Winner”) at random from the pool of entrants via Wishpond app from 13th December 2015 to 24th December 2015. There will be twelve (12) Winners in total during the Competition. The Entrant who is drawn is deemed by Pacsafe to be the winner of the Competition, subject to verification of eligibility (the “Provisional Winner”). The Winner will receive one (1) of the following bags (the “Prize”), chosen by Pacsafe at its own discretion, the resell price of which is between USD 115 to USD 565:
Pacsafe will announce the Provisional Winners on its Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/Pacsafe) from 13th December 2015 to 24th December 2015 EST. On each day, only the Provisional Winner drawn on that day will be announced. The Provisional Winners will be contacted directly for confirmation of eligibility and shipping address. If the Provisional Winner does not reply within two weeks (14 days) and/or cannot be contacted, Pacsafe reserves the right to select another winner at random from the Reserve Entrants. All Winners will be announced together on Pacsafe January Newsletter as well.
The Winner of the Competition is eligible to win only the Prize outlined by Pacsafe for the Competition. If the Prize outlined has become unavailable, Pacsafe reserves the right to provide an alternative prize of equal or greater value. Similarly, events may occur that render the awarding of the Prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of Pacsafe. Pacsafe may, at its absolute discretion, vary, cancel or amend the Competition and entrants agree that no liability shall attach to Pacsafe as a result thereof.
The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and there are no cash alternatives.
By participating in this Competition, entrant gives Pacsafe permission to collect his or her email address for the purpose of managing the Competition and for Newsletters and other Marketing purposes.
This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook and Wishpond . Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the promotion will be directed to Pacsafe, not Facebook or Wishpond.
Incidental expenses and all other costs and expenses (excluding costs and expenses relating to the shipping of the Prize), which are not specifically listed as part of the Prize are solely the responsibility of the Winner. All taxes including, but not limited to, any federal, state or local taxes, fees, surcharges or liabilities relating to the prize are the sole responsibility of the Winners.
INDEMNIFICATION AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY BY ENTERING THE COMPETITION, EACH ENTRANT AGREES TO INDEMNIFY, RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS PACSAFE AND ITS PARENT, AFFILIATE AND SUBSIDIARY COMPANIES, THE FACEBOOK PLATFORM, ADMINISTRATOR, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONAL AGENCIES, AND ALL THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS FROM ANY LIABILITY, DAMAGES, LOSSES OR INJURY RESULTING IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM THAT ENTRANT’S PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPETITION AND THE ACCEPTANCE, USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE THAT MAY BE WON. PACSAFE AND ITS PARENT, AFFILIATE AND SUBSIDIARY COMPANIES DO NOT MAKE ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE CONDITION, FITNESS OR MERCHANTABILITY OF THE PRIZE. PACSAFE AND ITS PARENTS, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONAL AGENCIES, AND ALL THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS DISCLAIM ANY LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE TO ANY COMPUTER SYSTEM RESULTING FROM ACCESS TO OR THE DOWNLOAD OF INFORMATION OR MATERIALS CONNECTED WITH THE COMPETITION.
By participating, each Entrant grants Pacsafe permission to use his/her name for publicity purposes without payment of additional consideration, except where prohibited by law. Unless otherwise advised, Entrant consents to the retention and use of the information collected by Pacsafe for marketing, research and/or profiling purposes.
