I recently purchased the tech crossbody for travel. When in Disneyland the time came to go on the log jam ride. I placed my husband's phone in it with mine "just in case." Well, we both got soaked due to a rogue wave (lol)! I can attest to the fact that all products remained dry in the crossbody, as well as after hours of resting upon my wet shirt. I also like the accordion style foldout.
Recently bought this for our trip to Italy to make sure I was secure from pickpocket / casual theft while sightseeing. The way the bag sits close to your body and under your right arm made me feel secure while walking around while also providing easy access to my phone for photos. I also bought a tether to secure the phone to the bag.
This is a great little bag (which I use as a handbag, not a tech bag) and has great internal organization. I also appreciate the external pocket for quick access to my cellphone. I just wish the zipper had better security, along the lines of something like the clasp of the Pacsafe Citysafe Cx 2.4l Anti Theft Square Crossbody.
I'm so glad I got this bag. It was the perfect travel companion on a recent two-week trip through five countries in Europe. We used it daily, and it was a relief knowing our essentials like our passports, credit cards, cash, and phones were secure. The anti-theft features, like the slash-resistant strap and body, gave us so much peace of mind.
I really appreciate the little open pocket on the back. We paired the bag with a Pacsafe lanyard, clipping it to our phone and the bag and tucking it into that pocket or our own pockets when not in use. It was so convenient to access our phones without constantly unzipping the main compartment.
The only drawback is the strap. I wish it were a bit wider for more comfort. When the bag is even partially full, it can get heavy, and the thin strap becomes uncomfortable against lighter clothing after a full day of wear. Despite this, I'm already planning to buy a second one for our next trip so both my husband and I can have one!
